73: what are some of your worst habits?

The usual? Lazy, contradictory by times, probably selfish, bad with money, impulse control in general. Or is this supposed to be annoying habits like biting my nails or constantly interrupting people? Because I don't do the former and I think I'm pretty good on the latter and honestly, I hate this question so whatever.

I have bad habits and some of them are a manifestation of this answer.

Here are some pics and accompanying info from the last week-ish of my life because show and tell is fun.

Okay, story time. So this past weekend one of our neighbours let us know that the lilac tree in our backyard was pushing against the fence between our properties and hanging over and bring a nuisance so we called the landlord to come trim it back. He's done it before, or maybe he hired someone, I can't remember. I think that was a couple years back but it was done okay and this year when it finally started growing leaves and flowering it was a pretty big beast.

This time when he came to cut the tree back he decided to HACK THE SHIT out of it. Here's the tree post hacking from one view:

This is a couple days before I cut the lawn again and this angle catches the green part of the grass instead of the shittier stuff on the other side of the yard, LOL.

It's kind of hard to see from that angle so here's another, zoomed in, so you can get a better idea of the absolute shitshow this tree is now.

It's not my tree, not my house or property, so the landlord can do whatever the hell he wants with the tree and I'm okay with that but a) he SAYS he's going to come back and cut the whole thing back entirely (it'll re-grow so that's fine but he's also pretty shitty at actually doing what he says he will so we'll see if that's just what we're going to be staring at for another year) and b) there were so many birds/nests in there! I don't think there was any lost eggs or anything but I don't know for sure.

The story part of this story is that on Wednesday when I was mowing the lawn I mowed over a bunch of twigs and whatnot from the tree (because the landlord didn't really clean up well behind himself) but I didn't really pay attention to what I was doing until I started hearing the twigs get run over. Then I had the horrifying thought that I was actually running over remnants of nests and, for some fucked up reason, bones. I almost tripped balls right then and there.

I asked mom about it and she said that she already picked up "the bigger ones" after the landlord left and I thought she meant BIGGER NESTS and I felt like a murderer and was heartbroken but no, she meant branches and I wasn't an indirect bird killer and that, folks, is why you maybe shouldn't mow the lawn high.

TL;DR I'm not a bird killer, yay!

ANYWAY.

Here's Gracie escaping the carrier yesterday when I brought her home from the groomer. *insert obvious joke about my shaved pussy here*

We were having weird weather yesterday and it was cooler than it's been so I threw a sweater on her to help ease the transition from her thick coat to none coat. I basically did an entire photo shoot with her and gave her attention while Coconut pouted and tried her hardest to be a jealous bully.

Today after work I popped into one of the tattoo shops downtown to book an appointment and instead ended up getting tattooed and pierced right then due to an appointment cancellation.

I don't have a good picture of the piercing (and it's just a stud nose ring, use your imagination) so here's a super cute Snap I took of myself a couple weeks ago.
