7: do you name your plants?
LOLOLOLOLOLOL Actually, yes. One summer when I had the aforementioned tomato plants I named all three that I had. Don't ask me what their names were because I can't remember the names of ACTUAL people, but I spoke to them and referred to them by their names.
I also named the dead moth that's been my co-pilot in my car. His name is Fred. We're going on a year and a half or so now. Yep, me and Fred.
The frozen greek yogurt bark turned out! I was definitely imagining a smoother, sweeter, uh... less frozen taste (yeah, I know) so in that regard it wasn't what I thought it'd be, but it was pretty good! The only problem was that our chest freezer is legit an igloo block maker. I can't leave ice cream in there without microwaving the container if I want to scoop any in less than a half hour of thawing. I had to turn the slab of frozen yogurt over and beat the shit out of it with a spatula handle to break it. I have it in two containers, one in the chest freezer and one in the fridge freezer to "warm up".
I'm pleased with the outcome and it's SO simple, there's literally nothing to it aside from some mixing, and the options are endless for how to flavour it. It's also not so sweet that I want to eat ALL THE PIECES in one go. Although if you drop a bit on your shirt and it melts and then you eat it anyway because you're gross like me it turns back into regular greek yogurt (albeit sweeter and flavoured) and it's thick and weird.
Check out that quality yellow light and posing against a kleenex. Instagram gurus, eat your heart out!
With a chapstick for scale in lieu of a banana (when did that become the internet standard of measurement? Around the time the cat became its official mascot?).
I also received a couple beginner cross stitch kits from Amazon as I got the urge to give it a whirl last week. Only time and my shaky interest level will tell if this attempt at a hobby stands the test of time or ends up like most every other thing I've tried in the crafting division in the past decade. I still have a scarf in a drawer that I started in 2006 that's SO CLOSE to being finished that I just... didn't.
I'm pretty sure I was inspired, at least somewhat, by seeing the results of what fans of My Favorite Murder have done. I'd eventually like to make either a "stay sexy, don't get murdered" cross stitch or a "fuck politeness" one. That show and the community around it have really captured my attention!
