3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?
To answer this question I'd actually have to READ on a somewhat regular basis and I don't. The internet killed my attention span. Is that the new version of "Video Killed the Radio Star"? I'll use whatever strikes my fancy as a bookmark when I need to- magazine subscription cards, napkins, post-its, whatever. I'm also a corner folder. Whatever, my books were made to be read. Come at me.
The questioning with the other lawyer... went. It was a long process, from 10am-2:30pm and sitting in the likely expensive but ultimately uncomfortable chairs in my lawyer's board room didn't do anything for my back and talking about it the whole time also triggered some psychosomatic pain. It'll be another couple of months (ish?) before I hear for sure what my offer is for a settlement but both lawyers were on board with getting this shit wrapped up.
You ever have small moments that really aren't significant in any way aside from how they rock your motherfucking world? Like realizing how quickly time is passing, or that it's BerenstAin Bears, not BerenstEin Bears (but that's a whole other kettle of fish), or that your friend and you always talk about someone they know and realize after months that it's the same person--shit like that but more innocuous.
What I'm getting at is that toight I was making rice with cream of chicken soup. However I didn't realize at the time (or maybe I did and consciously made this choice, in which case how dare you, past!Erin?) that I bought salt-free cream of chicken soup.
I WAS LEGIT ROCKED TO MY CORE. What kind of bullshit, watery, bland fuckery is that?! I don't have any medical issues with salt so I can have it freely but I couldn't help feel really sad for the people who have no choice in eliminating it or what I'd do if I went super hardcore with reducing shit in my diet and was like, "this is fine".
Because it's NOT and I refuse to believe it is.
I have priorities.
