Music Monday on a Monday!
Click to viewI'm going to give Timeless one more episode, tonight's, and then likely give it up. It's incredibly boring to me which is bizarre because it's a time travel show about some dude trying to blow up historical events in the past (sometimes literally). It sounds awesome but the actual execution is less so. Plus I'm watching Frequency and that's enough fucking with time for me. At least that I can catch on Netflix and not bother my dvr with it.
A and guy!C eloped last week when they went away! I'd put two and two together before they left and I asked guy!C before he left where they were going and if they were going to do it and I got a confirmation. They've been engaged since Christmas but the idea of planning the wedding and taking their two (very large) families into account was stressful so they said 'fuck it' and planned it away. Good for them! If the day ever comes that I find a guy I want to marry I basically want it under the radar and to roll into work on Monday with a ring. "What'd you do this weekend, Bob? Yeah? Well, I got married."
I finally made the beef noodles I was talking about last week that I couldn't make when I wasn't feeling great. I sort of referenced a recipe but mostly just threw whatever the hell I wanted into the pan. Unfortunately I didn't take into account that the noodles I bought were almost double what was called for and it turned out... different, LOL. The noodles didn't really soften up as much as they should have but whatever, they were cooked and I was hungry. It tasted good, the textures were just a bit off, LOL. Now to figure out how best to reheat the leftovers so the noodles get softer!
