Submission for The Zodiac challenge at gameofcards
The challenge from gameofcards: You are tasked with creating a (exploration, or crime-making, or something) team of people called the Zodiac. Your team has 12 members. They might have superpowers, they might not and they carry out a task. (for examples, teams like the crews on Firefly or Star Trek, Cop/Detective teams, Supernatural fighting teams, sports teams, etc, etc).
Here's my zodiac team.
This rag-tag team of humans, werecreatures and other things that go bump in the night come together to solve the oddest and worst supernatural-related mysteries. Some days they're a little Buffy the Vampire Slayer, others they're more Suicide Squad. They approach every case with heart, sometimes are a mess but always get to the bottom of the problem.
The leaders: an Alpha werewolf and a human with too much sarcasm for his own good.
The opposites: They each bring something to the table that works in their own way. Unfortunately those ways are always different from each other and leads to a lot of eye-rolling and snarling.
The good girls: More alike than anyone would ever think; these two don't realize their own strength, even if it's in different ways. They always have each other's backs.
Look pretty but carry a big stick: Don't underestimate these two, especially when they're together. You won't make it out alive.
No more trust: They have their reasons why they're in the squad and they'll get the job done--but don't expect any sudden heart-to-hearts.
The spectrum: from innocent and naive to jaded and justthisclose to evil these two see things everyone else doesn't--in incredibly different ways.
