Don't quite know what to do with myself now
Now that the Advent Calendar is done I'm not 100% sure what to do with myself now! I'm currently working on an icon post to try to lessen some of the backlog I have in my icon folder. Like, two+ years of icons that haven't been posted yet. Good intentions and all that.
I made "Christmas" dinner today and it was FUCKING AWESOME. Brown sugar & butter (well, margarine) slathered all over the chicken for an hour and twenty, roasted garlic potatoes (SO FUCKING GOOD) and broccoli. We were planning on having carrots and turnip, too, but we totally didn't need them.
Did the Boxing Day shopping thing this morning and was at Bath & Bodyworks as soon as they opened but once I got in there I was pretty disappointed. They'd only just opened last year so I think when the Boxing Day sale happened then they had a lot of misc stock from wherever they needed to get rid of and I cleaned up. But this year they only had one side of a tiny table of super reduced stuff, very little was actually on sale and there wasn't really anything I wanted. I wanted to stock up on hand soap but all they had were the foaming ones which I don't find all that great or as long lasting.
Basically it was all a bust. I made an unexpected stop at Superstore for shits and giggles because it was still pretty early and less murder-y on my soul. Picked up a couple things and some Glade air freshener packages on sale so I spent a whopping $25. Came home, took a nap, made dinner.
And... that's the longest bunch of overly-wordy boring bullshit ever.
