Hey y'all!
I have had a pretty okay weekend, although I'm still exhausted. I hung out with the HMV crew yesterday and it was a lot of fun! It was the classic crew though, so it was like it was 2008 again or sth. We went to an arcade and played games for tickets for a bit and then went for a bite and a drink at a nearby sports pub. Good, quiet, fun night!
I'll be starting back there in a couple weeks, once November rolls around. Everyone is back so it's hella weird, LOL. The newbs are gonna be like- the fuck?!
Know what's disappointing? When a tea smells amazing but once you brew it it's hella underwhelming. Sadface.
I want to go to wincon next year, y'all. Well, depending on where it is. Because I'd also like to go to NY ComicCon, too. But my boss wants to do a girl's weekend there around that same time to run a race so I don't know what will work out. October's a weird month.
I have to answer a bunch of comments. I have them all in my email, still, I just suck at it. Sorry y'all.
Does anyone ever have any trouble uploading gifs to tumblr? I've made some, in no different a way than I've done in the past, and now when I try to put them up they turn into a still image. I have no idea what to do or what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it. I HAVE THINGS I NEED TO SHARE WITH RANDOMS ON THE INTERNET. HELP?!

[Beauty and the Beast]
Jesus Christ. I just don't even know with this show. I don't mind the moments between the girl and the "beast" but the rest of it is SO BAD. SO SO SO BAD. I'm going to keep watching for a number of reasons, however. I'm a masochist. I want to see if it'll maybe get better somehow (hey, TVD started out pretty cringe-worthy, too, and look where it's gone! I mean, it's still kind of shitty in places and it's definitely not as good as it once was and it sorta peaked but STILL! LOOK!). I'm kind of hate-watching. There's nothing else on in that time slot that I'd rather watch instead.
Her partner is not that great, nor is the dude in the crime lab or wherever. I like Vincent's roommate but even his schtick is going to get old pretty quick.
Um, I'm kinda opinionless on everything else, I guess. I liked Arrow, still, but you can see further insights in my caps post. I'm behind on Last Resort & Elementary, which might not bode well for those shows. Once I start to drag behind I usually give up. I've already given up on Revolution, despite hearing that it's picked up a bit, and I didn't even really give 666 Park Avenue a chance during the pilot, NGL. But I don't have high hopes for it so whatever.
I like Go On because it's easy to get into and enjoy. I've watched all of 2 Broke Girls that have aired, but I haven't capped anything yet because I keep forgetting. I'm a little over halfway though season 1 of Revenge but it's kind of slow going because I'm capping it so I have to do it on the computer and I have to be able to focus on it for the aforementioned reason. So once I'm done with that I can start season 2 and catch up.
I miss Community. *sigh*
I'm writing a bit and coming up with ideas that I COULD maybe write if I found the right inspiration for them. I am also hella jealous of everyone on tumblr who can mashup gifs and then other people write things based on them and they make me so envious of their ideas and how quick they are. I haven't gotten back there yet.
I've also been seeing some movies. Saw Pitch Perfect twice (LOVED it, would totes go again), Argo (I think out of the three Affleck movies this is the least strong one but that doesn't mean it wasn't awesome, which is was. Gorgeous movie, actually. I just find Gone, Baby, Gone and The Town stronger) and Looper (totally JGL's movie, not Bruce Willis'. It was good but not something I'd go see again. Interesting concept. A little long.). I have a couple passes that have to be used up by Friday so I think Todd and I will see Seven Psychopath's on Tuesday.
Had some crazy people at work and it's not even during or immediately after a full moon. One lady demanded to see our manager because I was "rude" and "ignorant" to her but luckily my supervisor headed her off on Friday and she was placated. She's become an almost everyday nuisance at work but we're not quite sure what to do about her. My dealings with her have led me to be in contact with her daughter who I feel SO BAD for because her relationship with her mother is obviously almost non-existent thanks to the mom's ABUNDANT CRAZINESS. The daughter doesn't even live in the area! She's HOURS away and yet she's still dealing with her whackadoodle mom.
I'm just rambling on here about everything that's popping into my mind. It's been that sort of few weeks. It's kinda awesome.
