Finished a quilt!
So my sewing frenzy didn't stop after the kids' projects were done. After going to the Art Fair in Fort Worth, I was inspired by all the color. Oddly I was inspired to not make something new but to finish something. This is what I was doing on Earth Day instead of making myself shopping bag.
I've had this gigantic block sitting around forever. I had done some quilting on it previously but then put it aside again.
Well a couple of weeks ago I finally finished it! I finished the quilting and added a few glass beads and then it immediately went on my wall!

This project should have been done ages ago. I feel so great having got another project out of the bags and onto the wall. I think it also had a part in inspiring me to really start my son's quilt. I'd like to have done some things differently, the color of thread in the leaves, but funds were too low to get some more supplies. I think what really counts is that it's done!
