Many subjects
I just started watching the new spotlight community super_supper
OMG! It looks so good! I can't wait to try some of thier recipies! I'll probably make one tonight for dinner. Fortunately I was eating dinner when I started looking over thier past posts or I would have gotten way too hungry! :o)
So I was pondering management...
Is it "manage-ment" because they can barely manage? Shouldn't it be more along the lines of co-ordinators because they need to be very co-ordinated. Or maybe large group task acomplishers? I mean, getting thousands of peices of frieght out to the floor or even just keeping the store looking nice is a giant task that needs to be completed. Management just sounds so mediocre, so half-ass.
So I work in a fairly large store in an area that is still growing and we can get anywhere from 1500-2500 peices of freight in one night on average. Saturday night we got 5100 peices! OMG! and then I had to work the infants department by myself. I busted my butt and got almost all of it out except for about 1/4 of a really tall stacked pallet. I don't know why I did because we don't get trucks in on Sunday night and the girl that works it normally came in and finished just the little bit I had left. :o( She hardly had anything to do while I have been sore for days. So I busted my ass for nothing. It was so busy that night I doubt my manager even noticed how much I got done. Well I'm going to tell them I won't do it again because between my anemia and I can't eat too much protein (it upsets my stomache), I've been totally wiped out. Fortunately its my weekend now so I don't have to worry too much and have a chance to recover. I've already slept like 13 hours! but I feel somewhat better and eaten more protein and taken my iron pills. I just need to go get some milk to have a protein shake or two and I think I'll be better by Wednesday night when I have to go back to work.
On to brighter subjects, my female problem (read constant vaginal spotting) has finally stopped! YEA! But now I'm too tired for sex :o( and I've been repressing the urge so long its hard to stop. I'm sure I will soon it's just wierd because I've been so damn horny lately and now that the way is clear I'm not so much interested in it anymore. Life is strange.
I'm in a sewing mood so I think I'm going to start on some muslins (pattern tests from cheap fabric) for my kids. I think I'm going to do some overalls for my son and a dress for my daughter. I went to a Hancocks Fabric store that was closing the other day and got some motorcycle wall hangings that I might hem one up for my son to put on his wall. And a ton of buttons for 10 cents a card. It was awesome but there was only 2 days left so they were sold out of alot of stuff.
I guess that's all that is going on in my odd little world about now. I really like this online journal thingy. I've never been able to keep up with my journaling before. I love checking my friends page and then posting on my days off. I think I'm finally really getting into it. Watch now that I've said that I won't ever be able to post again ;o)
