Skating lessons this season have been a little odd, for a few reasons. First, this is the first set of private lessons I've had with someone other than Coach, and while this young guy does get me to do stuff I'm scared to do, he just doesn't get how adults learn to skate (very slooooowwwwly, in my case). It's been a very skatey weekend. It started out on Friday night at the public session. I actually get in a bit of practice early in the session before the crowd of obnoxious kids take over. I've been looking forward to tonight for a while. I haven't seen all the programs yet since about half of them are recorded, but I'm glad I got to watch Sasha Cohen. Wow! It was just beautiful!
