what valentine's day means to me

so without regrets or remorse, i am saying that i am looking at 19 years of no valentine. (and no, the mandatory cards you make in elementary dont count) years ago, around the age of 12-13, i realized that in reality, you don't need ONE day to show someone how much you care about them. but there are few that take it as a real celebration, cause if they're shy then it helps relieve tension by expressing their emotions on the excuse that "it's the season." and to them, i'd like to say that i hope you do get to rid yourself of shyness even if it's momentarily.

although there are a few days left, i'm not looking forward to it, nor am i seeking a valentine just to say i had one. don't get me wrong, i'd love to spend it with a girl, but chances are i'll be working. (since everyone and their mother requested the day) i still think that v-day should be reserved as like a... "2nd friday of February" thing, cause what can you really do on a Tuesday? many won't stay out late cause there'll be the need to get up early wednesday. if i do come up with something, i'm thinkin about waiting for the weekend.

well, i got no more thoughts for now.
