day of dr and food
took today off to go to the Dr. the diabetes doctor that is going to be the interm doctor while mine is out on materinaty leave is great she is having me come back in 4 weeks so I have to keep up with my blood sugar logs... yes I need to keep a log no I havn't been keeping a log, actaully I am pretty bad with checking it, I need to get supper good with checking it if solvar and I are going to multply.. we want to bread but not at the point that it will hurt me or a child to do so, birth defects because I can not control my BS are bad very bad. not going there.
but made the lentil soup for the meal plan today... I got heavy handed with the wine so it is very dark in color but taste yummy, I whole bottle of wine later. so it is a lentil, bean, leek, onion, celery, carrot, soup with cummin, wosrhshire sauce, allspice, cloves, garlic,nutmeg, salt and pepper and a bottle of merlot.
I have to work on cimmon butters tonight after I clean the kitchen from the soup. then get the vension in some vinagar to get the gameness out, and put the chickens in the fridge so that they can thaw too, I think we may try 3 chickens and only put one traveler on each of the vension hams since there are now 45 people that I am cooking for.
got a box of sweet potatoes for dinner, and box of apples for snacks.
went to dicks to geta new colman stove for the weekend solvar and I have been think about one anyway, but deceided to get two just so there was enough cooking power this weekend. while in line since the store was just barly open and the first guy to go throught he line had credit card issues, the check out girl asked why 3 and I said I was cooking at a camping thing this weekend for 40 people she asked what was the group and then gave me a 15% discount, all I said was the society for creatative anchronmism, didn't mention anything about mideveil or renasance. I think I could have said society for crack smoking monkeys and she would have given me the discount. woot.
