I just spoke to one of the executives of the Town and Country Hotel in San Diego.
I received a personal apology and will be receiving a full refund. He also advised me that they will be fixing the Sunshine Deli so that it can be accessed by wheelchair users.
Once the refund goes through I will be adding an addendum noting this to the original post.
Thank you, everyone, for your support (and to whichever one of you contacted the city of San Diego before I did - I wasn't given a name, but again, thanks.)
