So I decided to make a fancy cake for The Boy’s birthday. Or, if you want to be totally honest about it, I wanted to make a fancy cake and his birthday was a convenient excuse. After some googling, I decided to go with this recipe.. I’ve never made a mousse cake before, or used a cake collar, but hey, contestants on Great British Bake-off do it
