Here's my job, described using only the 1000 most commonly-used words in the English language, according to the
Up-Goer 5 text editor:
I study the big water that covers most of the big ball we live on. Food-stuff in the water makes very tiny green things grow. Some parts of the big water have lots of food-stuff and some have only a little. I try to find out why this happens by looking at the ways the big water moves. This is very important because if very tiny green things don't grow in the big water, the air we breathe won't be as good.
"Ocean" is not one of the 1000 most commonly-used words in the English language. This is sad.
