Had some spotting, midwife put me on bedrest. With a toddler? Yeah, we both had a good laugh about that. Seems to have helped. I arrived at the cottage mid-afternoon, and have settled in quite comfortably. Have unpacked the clothes into the dresser, hung my dress (might go out for dinner one evening), spread my reading and writing materials across the couch, and have laid in provisions (plenty of breads, pasta, and chocolate, and fruit--see, I can be good) from the local ( Read more... ) -

It's bedtime for Anthony, and his choice for said bedtime book is... one of the phone books in the discard pile.
And Daddy went right along with it. Lawyers, Roto-Rooter and trucks.

A very quick check-in
We're all fine, except that Darren is still MIA.
We had snow, ice, icicles, falling ice and falling branches.
We were without power for a bit, hence the lack of communication.
We're lucky no one had to air-drop any of our meds.
