Once again I come asking for help.
Can anyone suggest good (as in informative/reliable/well written) books about albinism?
I'm looking for non-fiction (real-life stories, guides for parents and so on) and also for fiction (any genre, but fantasy/sf suggestions are very much appreciated).
I'm aware of the evil albino trope (one more reason to loathe the Da Vinci Code for bringing it at the forefront again), and, for fiction, I'm looking for books in which the person with albinism is either the hero/hera or 'just a normal guy', at the moment only
Akata Witch and
Elric of Melniboné come to mind (although I'm in serious doubt that a drug-dependent anti-hero with a soul-eating sword really fits the bill).
As aslways, thank you!
