"Bodies" exhibition

Isn’t the human a piece of art? Not only the outside, but the inside as well. Especially the lungs and arteries, they look really beautiful!
I’ve been to an exhibition with real human bodies, preserved at a cellular level. I thought it would be about examining corpses, because the visit was arranged by the Indianapolis criminology professor, but in ( Read more... )

Oh, you saw it! There was an exhibition like that around here too, but I never got to see. I still regret it. It had animals too, I still remember the horse as it was featured on one of the promotion posters. It really impressed me.

I can see were some might find it "extreme", but I personally don't think so. After all, they are dead, isn't it better to use a body for studying than to just let it decay?

Yeap. Better use what you can, right? Be it stem cells or dead bodies. Besides, yes, considering those bodies would have probably decayed many years now, their owners might have been a bit happy to know that there is still something left of them.

Yeap! I think it's very good. Not the suspenseful or crazy kind of good, but it is interesting and gets more interesting by the episode.

this is a sign that human needs to learn bout their own body and life healthy
i won't be sleepy, even with 2,5 hours sleep, if i was there!!!!

No, I don't think you would lose your sleep. The bodies are really like the models you see in some classes. You forget the fact that they are real.

Health awareness is one of its purposes, yes! If only people found a reason to care more... Knowledge is just a first small step. :(
