It's starting to feel real...
- passport is renewed and received
- time off is approved
- flights and one transit pass (of three) are purchased
- progress made on lodgings and transit schedules
- general itinerary (or as much as there'll be of one) is laid out
- shopping is mostly done
- packing list and souvenir list is started
