I don't think that people actually read my reviews so what the hell XD I still like to do this, since it reminds me of what I've seen and what I haven't.
Dance of the Dragon
Long time ago, in a far away land(I kid), a boy is searching for his destiny in life. He is attracted by the swift, fluid movements of the dancers he meets by chance. His father wants him to be just like him, working in a factory with a minimum pay. He resists and flees home, going to Singapore to attend a dance audition. His talent is raw and untrained, but it is spotted by a lady teacher who sees the determination burning in his eyes. You don't need me to finish this story, right? The storyline is of course like the following.
1=> Boy meets girl
2=> Boy likes girl
3=> Girl is taken
4=> Girl has tough past
5=> Girl experiences growing attraction
6=> Girl struggles between husband/boyfriend and boy
7=> Obstacles faced and overcome and VIOLA, BOY AND GIRL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
...I loved it ♥ Okay, I know it's cliche and what not, but it works everytime. And the chemistry between Jang Hyuk and Fann Wong is simply amazing. They look so perfect together, him unpolished and tough, and her, elegant and graceful.

Let the right one in
Okay, so you guys might not watch swedish movies. But hey, this one is good. I'd say it's so much better than Twilight. Which, well, is a chick lit. Lol, it is. And it's not exactly a very interesting one too. I prefer true blood. Now that, is what I call a vampire movie ;D
...getting back at the topic in hand, the movie is awesome. It is. Oh, don't let the small kids fool you. They're pretty good at what they're doing.
A fragile, anxious boy, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied by his stronger classmates but never strikes back. The lonely boys wish for a friend seems to comes true when he meets Eli, also 12, who moves in next door to him. But Eli's arrival coincides with a series of gruesome deaths and attacks. Though Oskar realizes that she's a vampire, his friendship with her is stronger than his fear...
The people portraying Eli and Oskar are good even though they're still young. The romance is weaved with darkness and fear and everything a first love is. What makes it interesting is that Oskar is able to come to love Eli and his love for her eliminates the fear he gets that she is a vampire.
Watch this, guys. It's good. Or if you like it that bad,
download it here.

shinigami no seido
Adapted from the bestselling novel by Kotaro Isaka “The Accuracy of Death”. Chiba (Takeshi Kaneshiro) appears seven days before a person dies an unexpected death. His job is to observe the person for seven days, and then decide either to ‘execute’ or ‘pass over’. Getting his work quickly out of the way, he goes to the listening booth of a CD shop and indulges in his favorite pastime, listening to ‘humanity’s greatest invention’: music.
He is...a Grim Reaper. Today, again, in the rain, he waits. His subject, her death due in seven days, is Kazue Fujiki (Manami Konishi), 27. She works for a manufacturing company, in the complaints department. Exhausted after her day, she emerges from her office. It’s time for the Reaper to go to work.
I know that I don't express my love for Takeshi often enough, but he is one of the eye candy that I seriously get engrossed in xD One thing I love about Takeshi is that even though his career is more taiwan/china based, he still does japanese productions. Hence, my reviews on the japanese movies he's done. I can go on and on and but hey, you wouldn't want that, would you ;P
Takeshi does a good job as a shinigami here, he remains unfeeling, stoic. Yet there are the tiny moments where you sense the humanity in him, the way he lets the lady off the hook. Shinigami's are often portrayed as monsters in animes. However, there has been a string of movies based on shinigami's. Hell, even Brad Pitt has done it twice. Needless to say, it could get a bit slow-paced during the running of the show. Please hold your complains, for it's a really good plot. You might wonder why the story jumps from here to there and there doesn't seem to be a common point. You're wrong. Good movie. And not because I'm biased.
