momo ate a pack of gum, today... it was sugar free gum. it was terrible. sugar free gum sometimes has xylitol in it, which is very toxic to doggies.
the package was chewed and trashed, made it hard to see if there was xylitol in it... i looked online, and it appeared to be in the ingredients. so, of course, i had a nervous breakdown. i called my baby doggy daddy, freaking and crying, and had to have him come home to try to figure out how to get the dog to barf. salt water, hydrogen peroxide, we tried it. no barfing.
meats concentrated on trying to figure out more info on the gum, only to discover that there WAS no xylitol in that dumb gum. i tortured my dog and tried to get him to barf, over NOTHING. my poor baby dog. i am so sad and shamed. my misinformation has made him all icky feeling. (cries)

this week has been completely outta control. we have had this girl whitney staying with us, and i kinda totally adore her. she is great. she moved on to her new abode yesterday, and seems to be pretty happy here in lake mary so far. she just moved here from fort meyers last week. i am always happy to make new friends, and help people feel more welcome.
going to sc for a christmas visit in a few weeks. can't hardly wait!!!
