If my calculations (and memory) are correct, then this Friday, June 22, marks ten years since I graduated from Ithaca High School (Sunday, June 22, 1997, if anyone is interested.)
Scary. 10 years. 10 years of school. (22 years of school!?)
There is a temptation to finish that statement ".... and what has changed? Really changed?"
But it has changed. So much has changed. I think of all the things over the past decade. All the people, all the faces. All the friends who I have met - and lost - since graduating. All the ways I have changed. Have grown. I have blinked, and time has passed me by, but not really.
A post may follow this, tracing the trajectories, the names, the moments. I hope it will, anyway, time and stress permitting. It's been quite the ride, but I wouldn't have traded away any of it. Thanks to all ya'll out there who've stepped into the story for the different bits and moments, and especially to ya'll who've planted yourselves further in it and refused to be budged ;-)
