Sorry- i was thinking about it, but you called when i couldn't hear you on the phone- packed train, and bad reception.

I have to do something to deal with the heat on my system too- but it's more to keep from burning myself ;-)

HAHA I think your solution is brilliant! You don't need a new fan at all, just keep the setup you already came up with!

(and anyway I know nothing about computer parts or fixing them, you know that.)

Um... yeah. My solution wouldn't work once the fan finishes dying... It helps, but it can't do a full job.
