...till 2008
I can't believe what we were able to do during the last Olympic race!!! WE WON THE MARATHON MEN!!! o_0 It didn't happen since 1988 at Seul! Oh my God! It was unbelievable...running for 42 kms! o_0 We won the very first race of the Olympic games, that is the march, and we also won the last one, the marathon! :D *jumps* I'm so proud of my country right now! We won 32 medals overall. It's not much compared to other bigger countries that won many more but in the list of countries that won the most medals we are in the 8th place. We are the 8th country in the whole world. It's a lot if you think we are just a tiny country after all..We are tiny but great and strong nonetheless, I think! :D
Speaking of the marathon still, I must say congrats to Usa for winning the 2nd place and above all congrats to Brazil for winning the bronze medal, after having been caught in an accident during the marathon. Yes, because while he was running, and he was 1st actually, a crazy guy invaded his space and started to push him into the audience standing on the side of the road. He had this big paper in front of him, where there was written: Read the Bible. The Bible is always right. o_0 Unbelievable. They stopped him and the Brazilian guy went on with his race but still..it was really shocking for him! However, it didn't go too bad after all, since he won anyway. :)
Well...anyway, the games are over by now. I'm watching the Closing Ceremony right now. They are heading towards the end actually but it as spectacular! It's a bit sad as it's over and we gotta wait for other 4 years to watch the games again. But one thing is good right now to watch still...and it's the Peace among all the people over there. All these people celebrating...all the athlets celebrating..it's like the world should be: in peace and harmony.
