Marvel's Kevin Fiege just announced a slew of Phase 3 titles, and this is one of them. 'Bout damn time a female superhero got her own movie. Marvel.com has confirmed that it will be Carol Danvers, rather that any of the other characters who've borne the title.
Most of the others were sequels―another Captain America movie, another Thor, etc.―but in addition to Captain Marvel there's also a Black Panther movie.
