Happy 10th Anniversary, Misfile!
The webcomic Misfile (link/TV Tropes page) turned 10 today. I've been reading it almost since the beginning and I'm still enjoying it.
The comic ostensibly fits within the anime "gender-bender" tradition, like Ranma 1/2, Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl, and so on. Magic macguffin turns a guy into a girl, and hijinks ensue.
Except there isn't that much in the way of hijinks. The premise is explored with much more depth and seriousness than usual. Ash, the main character, is portrayed more like a trans man than a girl, and ten years on (and about a year in-universe), the comic is still in violation of the 2nd Law of Gender Bending.
Anyway, congratulations to Misfile and its creator, Chris Hazelton!
