Yes. This would be nice. I wish all my plans - from academics to NGOs to personal reveries -  would work out.

No huge fortunes or high-powered job. I don’t think I’d be happy. Not to say I’d reject either if offered, but the stress & pressure that come with both would be tiresome. I’m too mellow & wayyy too idealistic (and slightly paranoid?) to enjoy it. The people drawn to it would probably leave me jaded & freaked out. lol. I guess both would give me a bigger opportunity to make a difference, but come on anybody can do that. Most NGOs started with scratch, didn’t they? No to insane indulgences either. My dad would have my head. Practicality wins out. Plus, the carbon footprints. OMG. I can’t even…

Now, I’ll take a good job that I’m passionate about. An NGO job would be the epitome of perfection for me. Environmental work or maybe a humanitarian cause. A local organization that focuses on a community’s issues - like healthcare since I took up Nursing - works, too. *sigh* I so want that.

Yes to a fun-slash-quirky-but-loving family; I have own but adding to it would be nice. I’d love a good house (like a beach cottage with lots of sunlight & big windows), and a short commute that involves biking not driving. I’m a bad driver D: and biking’s fun.  Maybe living in a small town that’s close to a big city? Small towns wouldn’t be so bad, but I want diversity & culture. Or a big city that’s close to nature. Parks & stuff. <3333

And finally, good friends to have long, random conversations with.

damn these are actually harder than the fortune or job now that I think about it, but it’s worth it. I’ll work on this list & get back to you in 5 years. lol.

Make it happen, falling star. Please?

dream, wishes, when i grow up
