Dye & Fiber Retreat - Castaic, CA
I just wanted to let any SoCal fiber folks know about the 2nd Annual Griffin Dyeworks Dye & Fiber Retreat in Castaic, CA. We've exchanged the August heat for October coolness, and added another half day of fibery fun!
I went last year as a relatively new spinner and knitter, learned so much about *everything* that my brain is still processing it today - and along with a fiber stash, I have a dye stash. It's a dangerous road we tread, folks. Very dangerous.
Everything you ever wanted to know about the retreat can be found here. You can register online or through the mail - prices go up as time passes, so if you want to go, register early! Please let you local "real world" fiber groups know about this as well! There's a link to a printable flyer on the website.
