Pay days suck
I hate pay days because they always give me the compulsive urge to run out and buy random shit. Not just random shit, but pointless, stupid shit that I never end up using. I try every time I get paid to not do this and so far I've lasted about a month since the last time this compulsive need has occurred. I have a money spending addiction, and the fact I work at a retail store does not help the problem. Watching other people buy mounds of shit makes me want to go out and buy mounds of shit. The only difference between them and me is that I don't have the budget to do this, and they apparently do. "They" being the customers that come into my store and annoyingly buy lots of shit that makes me want to buy lots of shit. Shit. I can't stand those people (ironic, seeing as they basically provide the money for my pay checks). Lets repeat after ourselves "I will not buy random shit this pay check. I will not spend all my money in one day that must last 2 weeks. I will not trick myself into believing my employee discount is saving me money if I'm buying random shit I never end up wearing. I will not go to Nordstroms on an empty money spending stomach. I will not spend all my money on fast food. I will not give my ATM card to my greedy-always-hungry little brother to go spend on junk food at the gas station. Amen."
