How I am gradually learning that I am not ready for childrearing (not that that's a bad thing ...)
"Ok, it's time to go to bed." "Fine, after that youtube video you can go to bed." "Ok, I guess you can stay up to see who wins America's Best Dance Crew." (YAY SUPER CREW!) I am a horrible babysitter. Because of this I am not ready for child rearing. I do not how to be strict when necessary, though really, that has always been my downfall. I am afraid of confrontation, even in the case of 12 year old children. I have no clue why I don't know how to say "no." This is bad when motherhood springs upon you. "No" is probably my mother's favorite and most used word, after her most used phrase "I already told you I HAVE NO MONEY." I am not ready for children. That and I would always be too lazy to feed them so they'd probably starve. That and I'd rather watch TV, and when I can't coordinate a babysitter when I want to go out to the clubs, I'll probably use the TV as my babysitter. I'd probably make them do all the housework because it's almost like having your own mini maid. My mother is kind of like this, or was like this when I was growing up, and hey, I didn't turn out that bad.
