I cleaned my room today! I had to move my stereo out of my window thing since that's where the air vent stuff is and they're going to change the air filters next week. I managed to fit my stereo on some other shelving, find storage for some other boxes stitting around, find someplace else to store my cleaning supplies, move my fishy and my plants (which are badly in need of revitalization) to the same stand, and vacuum. I still have my chair, the bag for the chair, and my rope lights in front of/in the window, but its all easy enough to set to the side when they come.
Vacuuming took longer than I had anticipated. Some of the people on my floor have borrowed my vacuum and didn't bother to notice that the hair they picked up got wrapped around the brush and stopped it from rotating, so I spent about 45 min getting that all cleaned up. No more lending my vacuum to other people!
Lakeshia and I went on a whirlwind adventure to Theilen, Target, Wal-Mart, and the MU food court. Did you know Target (at least not this one) doesn't have fish supplies? I wanted a small fish net to get some of the food off the top of the water that the Betta didn't eat so I don't have to clean the bowl as often. Nor do they have any sort of wipes or spray for cleaning laptop screens. Boo. So we went to wally world and I found those items plus some plant food for my ailing bamboo and...um...the other plant I have.
It was so gorgeous outside today! A little windy, but still very nice to take a walk in or a leisurely drive w/ the sunroof open.
When we got back here after eating dinner, I started reorganizing/cleaning again. We discussed going to a drag show at the M-Shop, but that didn't happen. She took a nap since she has to work at 7am, then her nap ran long and I was pretty engrossed in cleaning my desk off, so we missed the 9pm start. But I feel so much better to have my stuff organized and clean. I could have been working on my lab reports, but this really needed to be done, too.
Lakeshia IM'ed me (from the next room, how lazy are we?) to say that her mom bought us a table and a pair of chairs for our apartment! YAY! Its a small drop-leaf table, so it should fit very well against the wall between the living room and kitchen. I'm very excited about that, even though Jessica and I only used our table for holding decorative centerpieces.
Hm, now for some laundry.
