Lucky, Lucky Me! Fanfic Recs, Take 2
Honestly, I have no idea how I got so lucky but this week has been my best week ever in terms of getting the lovely and talented people on my f-list to write things for me. Some have wrenched my heart in half and others just made me giggle uncontrollably. In any case, all are must reads! ♥
The ever enchanting cygna_hime wrote a fic called Silly Boys, Daydreams, and Pictures in the Sky and possibly the best expository ficlet of all time. She is full of uncanny amounts of laughter. ♥
Gunshou wrote a beautiful and hopeful followup to the rather morose Five Similar Gardens with Absence. Mith, this is a must-read to see how things could have worked out in Swansong. ;)
Midnightdiddle, who shall no doubt marry me and dent all my toasters one day, keeps inspiring me onwards to write Larsa/Penelo/Vayne for Knots with Comrades and Family Love. If only I had a tenth of her writing talent! ♥
Mithrigil both disturbed and enchanted me with Larsa and Penelo's first kiss in Swansong. And to think, I thought I was over-doing it with creepy, stalking Larsa in Gardens!
runespoor7 continues to rock my world with her Facts about Hinata. Technically, it's not even a drabble but damn if it isn't brilliant anyway.
Rushikayu13 wrote the Story of a Proposal, with Larsa doin' it and doin' it and doin' it again-- till he gets it right. Hilarious and touching at the same time. ♥
sheffiesharpe made me giggle and squeal and then giggle some more with not one but two drabbles about Penelo and Larsa's first kisses. The added hilarity of watching Basch get lucky in a way Balthier knows nothing about is just icing on top of the sundae.
And finally, sister_coyote wrote me an enchanting little drabble about Penelo dancing that made me fall in love with her all over again.
