the pain in my rib seems to never go away ( but the pain lessened ), so i decided to have it checked by a specialist in Makati Med..
He laughed when he saw my plates and my info sheet. His first guess when he saw it was a sports related injury was....WRESTLING. You got that right doc! it was a relief to be checked by a doctor that had dealt with similar MMA injuries. He even asked me what club i belong to:)
Anyway, 6-8 weeks daw and recovery, the cartilage should heal by itself and in the mean time i should avoid heavy lifting
and the like. He laughed again when i said i will just do one more fight this Sunday and then give it a rest na:) He made me wear a rib band ( whatever thats called)....check it out....it doubles as slimming band for the tummy hahahahah
