Orihime doesn't make up excuses for herself...yes she is sometimes hard on herself...HOWEVER-that moment on the dome is nothing that should be made excuses over.
She doesn't deserve a free pass simply because she's a human girl, she faces dangers countless times....and the one time Ichigo needed her....she didn't rise to the occasion for him.
Orihime I know with all my heart, is going to correct this mistake in the future, by showing the world that she indeed does not need to depend on every stinking moment on the Kurosaki-kun. She will step up and show these so called "fans" that we all know about her and her potential to be great.
Orihime deep down is a strong person. Problem is....she for some reason can't be strong for Ichigo. Which is kinda important...if someone is the person you love...you SHOULD be strong for them. Not (poor Orihime D: ) become a wreck and fall to pieces.
If she can risk her life and be strong for her dear friends...then she can do it for someone she TRULY LOVES, not a boy she admires and allows him to do every little thing for her because the only thing that Ichigo and Orihime strengthen in their "relationship" is their flaws.
