Holy shite! My coworkers just threw me a little goodbye party. They even gave me a $50 gift certificate from the U of A bookstore. I shall promptly go buy some new sweats! One of the profs brought me in some wine. Nice to be so loved after only 4.5 months. I'm a bit nervous about starting this new position tomorrow but I'll write more about that later.
Oh, and I'm now in possession of one half of my needed reference letters and will be sending off some of my application packages tomorrow once I've finished filling them out. Hopefully the other prof who will be writing for me will get the letters done right away once he's back on campus. Ok, sorry that's boring stuff but I felt like documenting it.
