On a totally different subject, our roof is getting put on as I type this.
And on yet a third totally different subject, I went to a regional transportation planning meeting this morning, and somehow got assigned the marker for writing down my table's thoughts on our discussion. I kept cursing under my breath whenever I realized that I was trying to use computer commands and shortcuts with pen and paper. I wanted copy'n'paste several times, and tab-complete several times, and I kept trying to use sysadmin terms like distro instead of regular-person terms like distrib. (for distribution)... it was pretty funny to me that I write so little and type so much that I think typing first and writing second.
But - the meeting was terrific fun (to me, I know I'm a freak for actually LIKING planning meetings).
I'd like to ask an open-ended question - what would public transit have to do to get YOU (yes, you) to ride the bus?
How can public transit work to change your opinion about bus transportation (unless, of course, you already like riding the bus)?
(They're sort of the same question, from two different directions.)
