Not a good sign. One outlet in our livingroom just started sparking and quit passing electricity. There's another one in one of the bedrooms that also quit a while ago.
I have Duke Energy's electrical service contract, I think I'll call them.

I've been in the SCA way too long. I looked at "Duke Energy" and thought, "Huh. When did that pass the SCA College of Arms? It's out of period..."

You know, when I moved up here from Louisiana in 1990, there were DUKE stickers all over the place. I kept my voter registration in La. to be able to vote against David Duke, and I was horrified to think that he had all these supporters in this part of the country. They were for Duke University.

Of course now I WORK there, but hey, life is funny sometimes.
