Reliable, dependable me

I guess I always have been. Oh, there has been a lapse or two, in the last 61 years, but for the most part, I'm a person who does as she says she's going to do. What brought this on, you ask? Ah. That would be that it's me at the office. As in..*just* me. The boss's BP skyrocketed Monday, so we only saw a few patients on Tues, and cancelled the rest of the week. He had a no contrast (the contrast one's being done Monday am) MRI yesterday, and it was fine. His lab work, so far, is ok. Now, mind, I've delt with sick people most my life, and I would far rather he take it easy and stay healthy! Granted, to be honest, some of that is self preservation on my part, too. No office, no work. BAD. The downside, of course, is that everybody gets pissy with*me* about having to change their appointment. Or that this or that isn't done. *sigh* Be nice to the people who answer the phones when you call them at an office. Most of the things that happen in said office are *way* beyond *their* control:/

I'd like tomorrow off. Why? Cause I'm tired. Cause I have things to do, and won't be home Saturday, which means they all fall into Sunday.

Now? Now I get to go listen to phone messages. Oh. joy. not:)
