Where are you?
You, who called us "soul mates"..
Where have you gone?
Where are you?
You, who said we'd always be friends..
Why don't I hear from you?
What is wrong with me, then?
Am I a bad person?
Or is it that I'm simply not
Worth remembering?
Yeah. It's been a rough week. Jess took most of her things last night, so I guess the whole
Donovan/Jess thing is indeed over. I think he and I are both past caring, at this point. Still..it was good while she was here. And yes, I miss her, and Atticus, still. Probably always will.
The roommate got another dog Wednesday. He still has Dedee, but she was so lonely after Atticus left that she'd howl whenver the roommate left her alone. So, we now have Brewster, who's..a dog..of..*ahem* uncertain ancestry. He's about 7 months old, they said at the Humane Society, and he's very polite, for the most part. If his ears get any bigger, they could pass for sugar scoops!
I have a new beading project I'm thrilled about. My Peer, Gwen, asked me to bead a tunic for her, so I've been going through the Byz magazine Their Majesties gave their Court members a while back, and I've got a pattern:) She mentioned fresh water pearls and maybe garnets, so when I've got a bit of money, I'll pick up the pearls and at least get the basic pattern put on.
Chani( Christina) caught me as I was leaving Purg and asked if I would be willing to keep an eye on Miss Violet while she was consorting, and of course I said I would:) I can take care of Their Highnesses in the morning and Their Majesties in the evening, and have my granddaughter during the day! Definitely a win-win-win. Is she my "real" grandaughter? Define real. I've known Chani since she and Aine were in high school, and she's always called me "Mom". That's real, so of course Violet's my *real* granddaughter:)
Work? *sigh* Neither Jean nor Tom was feeling well this week, and Jean gets downright mean when she's sick. Tom mostly weathers it, but now and then he gets grumpy too. So yes. It was one of "those" weeks. Friday was better, so hopefully, they'll get some rest this weekend.
