I may be *gulp* getting ahead
I am done with my grading for Monday. Yes, seriously. I have only a tiny thing due next week for my classes. This means that any free time I have may actually be used to study for my classes and the dreaded written exam.
I do think it's a very good thing that I'm teaching the same class as last semester. My time for prep is less than an hour a week, I can anticipate problems the students will have, and the grading seems to go faster (probably because more students seem to be getting things correct).
As much as I know I'm polluting the air, I am also very relieved to have a parking pass as well. I get to campus reasonably early and can leave when I'm done. It's nice not getting home at 7 p.m. and being stressed out by standing on a smelly, crowded bus. I really appreciate having some veg time as I drive home.
Now if I could just get a housekeeper. Or maybe a secretary would be better. I have tons of filing to do.
