Good night! Adieu! To you and you and you...

“TZETZE (or TSETSE) FLY, n. An African insect (_Glossina morsitans_) whose bite is commonly regarded as nature's most efficacious remedy for insomnia, though some patients prefer that of the American novelist (_Mendax interminabilis_).” - Ambrose Bierce

I've had insomnia for the past three months. Hmmmm...that corresponds to about the time that I began school. Funny that. I've tried a lot of things, but if anything helps me to fall asleep, it also helps me to be dog-tired the next day. I'm on a barely survivable level of functioning right now, so I don't need any more problems with alertness and concentration.

Actually, that's not entirely true: I've had insomnia during the week for the past 3 months, but when I go home to Fargo, I have no problems falling asleep and will sleep for 9 or 10 hours...if the short person doesn't come in, which he usually does.

Last night, however, I had no problems falling asleep. And tonight, I am feeling *gasp* tired.

Perhaps I'm starting to get used to this, physically. If so, this is a good sign...and perhaps the rest of my body will start cooperating. (I relish the thought of giving eviction notices to various ailments.)

So...good night!
