I have some good news for a change.
You know how the writers' strike has temporarily destroyed television as we know it? And also how we are headed for a financial crisis?
We often hear of the man, how he conspires to keep us down and complacent. Well, if "the man" had any clue whatsoever about keeping us complacent, they would have forced Hollywood to settle the writer's strike, so as to keep us entertained and sedated.
So either our understanding of the man is off, or he's just fucking his job up. Either way it's a good thing and shows a chink in his armor. He's not as all-knowing and omniscient as we fear he is.
