{@}Also, I am worried that the megacorporation that is Microsoft will swallow up the minor megacorporation that is Yahoo. And then my email will be pwned by an Orwellian super intelligence. The consolidation of the interweb is starting to make me feel antsy.

{@}My morning jogging routine has now been fully taken over and inspired by gypsy music, including the growing phenomenon of Balkan Beatbox. Electro gypsy. It's fucking rad. That, coupled with Gogol Bordello and Taraif de Haidouks, means that I get my exercise old-world style. Except I don't think that gypsies "jog" per se. Run from angry mobs of murderous villagers eager to skewer their lifeless corpses on a pike? Yes. Jog? Not quite.*

*[ETA] Although if you have ever seen Eugene Hutz, the singer for Gogol Bordello, without his shirt on you will agree that he is athletic. So maybe modern-day gypsies DO jog.
