Bill Gates Sold His Soul to Teh Devil (Once again)

There is a new king of video games, and it is Microsoft. I'm not here to debate whether that is a good or bad thing, nor am I here to debate which console is superior. I'm here to talk about your gamerscore. It is, without a doubt, the single most ingenious device to grace video games since the joystick. For the uninitiated, your points for you gamerscore are collected by simply playing the xbox 360 and obtaining certain achievements. For each achievement, you are awarded points, depending on the difficulty of the game and the situation.

Now, here's the thing: Your gamerscore is worthless. You can't buy anything with these points, they don't unlock any online content, and they don't give you a blow job. I didn't get what the point was. Then I logged in. I saw two of my friends had more points than me. Fuck them. "I'm going to objectively prove that I'm more of a gamer than those fucks!" I thought to myself. Then I proceeded to find every possible way to earn gamerpoints.

Once I realized that many of the achievement were actually difficult to reach, I realized a second central truth: You buy more games, you can get more points. So, I bought more games. I've now destroyed my two friends' gamerscores, and I am going to continue to dominate them. Why? It's costing me precious free time and money. I don't care. I'm an american, and nothing is more important to me than stomping all of my friends into gamer oblivion. It's a glorified arcade score, and I couldn't be happier with it.
