doc appointment
Doc checked to see if I was dilated today. I did not expect that to hurt so bad, but good gracious I was gonna cry. I just closed my eyes really tight and my upper body just got really tense. He told me "try to relax" and so i tried to relax down there at least, but my shoulders were TIGHT because I couldn't stand it. Yikes.
I never did bleed or anything until way later, and he said that would be normal. I forgot for a few seconds though and panicked until I was like "oh duh he said that would happen" lol
But, the news is... he said my cervix had "no change" so I was not dilated at all, and apparently not effaced either. He said the baby was definitely head down though. I bet he thought my reaction was weird... He said I wasn't dilating at all yet, and I was like "really? oh good!" He didn't say anything but his face was like "..k?"

I know it may or may not mean anything as far as telling me when I'll go into labor, but it just made me feel relieved, like my body hasn't really started to prepare for labor yet, so that could mean she still has plenty of time left before she comes so that my husband will make it home. :)
