Rainbows, Unicorns, and God

So last night was Confirmation Prep. KD and I are readers for the Stations of the Cross production. Retreat is coming up. Foodfast is coming up even sooner. This summer KD and I might do a mission trip to Appalachia (which is a fancy way of saying 'Kentucky'). All rather fun. So anyway in class, Rich asked us to draw what we though "God's covenant would look like in the form of a rainbow" which seems rather limiting, but we managed to make it interesting.

It's a little cut off at the edges, but you can make out what it says, can't you?

So today I went to the middle school to hang up a poster for Taste of Languages (March 20th at VCMS...if anyone's interested they should preregister.) and I stopped in for a 'brief' visit with Mrs. LeSure. We talked about books and high school and movies and tests, and it was all very enjoyable. However in the course of this, we lost track of time and my mom ended up waiting in the car outside for almost half an hour. (Sorry, Mom!) Oh well! She says 'Hi!' to everyone in the legendary 7th grade class!

Lalala. "Sometimes...I take the sheets off my bed....and make a FORT!"

I guess I don't have much else to say...oh wait! I finished The Time Traveller's Wife today. It was muy good. Well, I don't really like the concept of time travel (as I may or may not have previously stated), because its such a helpless, hopeless idea that everything is set, and no matter what you do, you cant change anything. Everything's already written out like a book, and there's no room for self-improvement or redemption or...or anything. I dont know...but the book was good. The writing was captivating. I'm frankly rather astounded that we haven't done it for book club yet. It seems like it would be a natural choice. Oh well. Alright now I really have nothing to say. So...

Mara out.
