One year, One hundred entries
This my 100th entry in my Livejournal, and today also marks one year since I joined Livejournal. Was this a coincidence that they happenn on the same day? Mostly. I somewhat altered my updating/posting speed over the last week so they'd happen on the same day, but other than that - coincidence.
I moved to Livejournal after previously having a website for my graphics, fanfiction and vids. I found I no longer had the time to maintain a full website, so thought a journal/blog style page would be easier. Not only did this prove to be the case, but I found Livejournal to be an incredibly enjoyable place to be. I had just started watching Prison Break and had just fallen in love with Michael and Sara, and so joined communities on LJ relating to the show and the couple. I discovered many of the wonderful fics by writers I admire and was amazed by the sheer talent within the fandom. I continued to explore Livejournal and joined a variety of other communities within other fandoms. Again I found so much talent and so much great discussion and analysis of the details of various shows.
During my early days on Livejournal and the rest of my first year on the site, I have met many wonderful people and made awesome friends. So thank you to my Livejournal friends. I feel lucky to have you all on my friends list. Thanks especially to my PB fandom friends, who have been so welcoming and kind to a PB latecomer. Thanks of course to the Brucas girls from the old OTH Writers 911 board, so glad to still have you guys as friends. We need to have a big Brucas chat on msn or something! Thanks also to everyone who has read, viewed or commented on my fanart and fanfiction. Your support means so very much to me, so thank you.
Looking forward to another awesome year on LJ. Perhaps I will be at 200 entries this time next year? I am not going to work out my posting schedule to make sure that happens, I'll just have to wait and see.
