First Birthday supplies
It took me forever but I finally found Monkey themed party supplies that I actually like and will be buying for Monkey's 1st Birthday Extravaganza! :)
I was going for brown and yellow but the monkeys on this pattern are so unbelievably cute I'm willing to modify my motif slightly to accommodate a teal color. :) I'm not going to buy a "package" as that will get me things I don't need (like crepe paper and utensils I could buy cheaper elsewhere). I will; however, be buying the dinner plates, desert plates, cup, napkins and the mylar balloons! I'm going to see if it's cheaper to pick up the giant "1" balloon elsewhere because I'm sure it probably is. The amount of money we're going to be spending on this stuff is starting to get to the "slightly ridiculous" stage but I really don't care. :) Monkey only turns One once and Zach and I are of the opinion that every "first" should be celebrated with him. So we're perfectly ok with going a little overboard for his first birthday as far as decorations and such goes. :) As much as I'm not ready for him to turn One (how in the world are we here already!?) I'm really having a blast planning his party. :)
BTW: I finally started a blog for Monkey man so if you want to follow along sometimes I won't post all the Monkey stuff here cause that's a lot of copy and paste. :)
