Okay, so I am rubbish when it comes to getting up the nerve to friend people, and I tend to use the ever-so-stealthy "lurk around for a bit and then randomly friend someone" method. I'm marah_sarie. 27 years old. Originally from the US. Spent a number of years in Japan - long enough to speak/read/write the language with some degree of competency, or so I'd like to think. Moved to Scotland in 2007 and still trying to get used to life in the UK. Probably not likely to move back to the US any time in the foreseeable future.
I am a fangirl. I seem to be mildly obsessed with Doctor Who, both old and new skool. My pairing of choice seems to be the psychotic, obsessive, stalkery fucked-up brilliance that is Doctor/Master, but I have been known to slash and/or ship pretty much any pairing on that show (except for Adric. Sorry, Adric.)

When I grow up I want to be a professional translator. It's either that or an astronaut, I'm not sure.
