Sherlock not spoilery stuff
I have no idea why, but I have this terrible desire to write a fic in which Harry is trying to get John to go to church with her and then John and Sherlock have this whole argument about religion. ::headdesk::
Besides the fact I have absolutely no time to write it (ohgodsomuchworkandcleaningandkidsand...), there are some other problems: a) I'd do better writing John's POV but I'm not sure I'm actually capable of fairly writing the POV of someone who believes in a deity and b) even if I manage that, I'm almost certain to offend someone. Probably lots of someones, considering what my Sherlock wants to say.
Why, brain, why? Why can't you just write porn like everyone else?
Speaking of which, more people need to write me Holmes/Lestrade. I have no idea why, considering Holmes/Watson is one of my earliest slash pairings, but in this 'verse I also like Holmes/Lestrade. (We have noticed I'm really multiship, right? Right.)
Of course the fandom could also use a lot of good casefic. C'mon, I want Sherlock being annoying and John being patient and Lestrade banging his head against a wall...
Okay, I've got to go pack a swim bag, because I'm taking the kids to the pool. ::looks outside:: Ugh, it's hot. But I promised Yael and I can't go back on that promise. ::sigh::
